To Apply:

  • To enter the program, the first step is to attend our open interview the third Tuesday of the month at 11:00 a.m. The next open interview date is October 16.
  • Come on time, dressed for an interview- no jeans, tshirts, sloppy sweatshirts or gym shoes, cellphones off. Do not bring your friends or children.  Interview lasts approximately one hour.
  • In this first interview you will learn details about the program, fill out paperwork and make an appointment for a second, one on one interview. By the third interview, you we will have decided together if you are right for the program and if the program is right for you.
  • By the third interview you will have to obtain uniform, and documentation required to get a job: a current picture ID, social security card, police check and a direct deposit account at a bank or credit union.
  • You will be asked to take a drug test during your first week of the program.
  • There is usually a waiting list; the only way to get through the waiting list is to get ON the waiting list by attending the interview.
  • While we are glad to talk to case managers, job coaches, family supporters and other program referrals, the individual applying must make his or her own appointment and take his own interview independently.
